At Duneswood we offer peaceful, relaxing, affordable vacations for womyn and their friends year round! We are located in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, on 7 wooded acres. There are lots of new and exciting things happening in 2012 as we celebrate 20 years of operating (see our events calendar). Download our Jan-Mar 2012 Newsletter.
We are also currently searching for 4 people; 2 for the Duneswood Board of Directors and 2 for Hearts 4 Mother Earth. Please call or contact us for more info!
When you come to Duneswood be sure to visit our new store and art gallery, the bonfire out back and the swing in the woods looking onto the old Dune Climb. Ski, snowshoe or in warmer months, rent a bike or kayak from our partner Hearts 4 Mother Earth. The works of photographer Edyta Stachowicz are featured in each room - photos of nature's majestic beauty taken all around the area - and are available for purchase.
We have clean, newly renovated accommodations to offer too . . . recreate the Up-North experience, come home to Duneswood!
Sincerely,
Deborah Rettke
Owner/Manager
Extra, Extra! Read all about the new and rejuvenated Duneswood Resort in a recent article that ran in the Glen Arbor Sun. By F. Josephine Arrowood, the piece highlights the evolution of a reborn Duneswood that celebrates diversity as well as inclusion.

Also while you are here, check out our "memories" album. It is a tribute to the herstory of Duneswood, from the way the rooms used to be decorated to the wonderful wildlife and natural beauty that surrounds her.

There and back again
Oh, there and back again
I'll be there and back again
Thank God for the wheels that keep on rollin
Less time for me to walk alone
To think how this road it keeps on turnin
Thank God that it keeps on leadin me home
There and back again
Oh, there and back again
I'll be there and back again
